RM Web Development — After-hours Lead Capture

This Privacy Policy explains how RM Web Development (“RM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you interact with our after-hours lead capture product (the “Service”). This policy is for informational purposes only and is not legal advice.

What we collect

• Visitor chat content: messages, contact details, scheduling preferences, and context shared in the chat.
• Business inputs: hours, services, FAQs, routing instructions, and branding assets you provide for setup.
• Contact and demo details: name, email, phone (if provided), and messages sent to us.
• Technical data: basic device/browser info and timestamps needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use it

• Provide the Service (answer FAQs, qualify visitors, capture and route leads).
• Share lead handoffs with you (email, Google Sheets, CRM/webhook, or other destinations you approve).
• Operate, secure, and improve the Service (including quality reviews and model/guardrail tuning).
• Communicate with you about demos, updates, and occasional product announcements (you can opt out of promos).
• Meet legal, security, and fraud-prevention requirements.

How we process and share

• Cloud LLM APIs: Today, visitor messages are processed via third-party LLM APIs to generate responses. These providers receive the chat content for inference. We do not sell data.
• RM-managed servers (future upgrade): We plan to migrate processing to RM-managed infrastructure for greater privacy. We will notify customers when this is available.
• Local/on-prem option: If you choose the Local Appliance deployment, processing stays on hardware we install at your location, and no chat content is sent to third-party APIs.
• Vendors: We may use hosting/email/webhook providers to deliver handoffs and operate the Service. Vendors are limited to what’s needed to perform their role.
• Legal/security: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the Service.

Retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You can request deletion or export by emailing contact@rmdev.net.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the Service. No system is 100% secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive data through chat.

Your choices

• Opt out of promo emails by using provided links or emailing us.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your data via contact@rmdev.net.
• Choose a deployment model: cloud API (default today), RM secure cloud (coming soon), or Local Appliance (on-prem).

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may update this Policy. The “Effective date” above will be revised when changes are posted.
